Welcome to Hillcrest Normal School Vege Village
Three years ago we began with an empty area of grass beside the turf. We have built an enclosed self-sufficient vegetable garden that children in the senior school work in each week. They share the produce that they grow with their families and delight in trying vegetables previously unknown to them. They have gained valuable knowledge and experience, and many now have their own vegetable gardens at home.
