Public Health Nurse
The Public Health Nurse calls regularly at the school. Parents may request an appointment with the Public Health Nurse at any time they wish to seek her advice. Teachers with concerns about student's health, may also seek assistance or make a referral.
Hearing and vision tests are conducted by a technician for all children in their first year at school and again during the Form One year. Parents are advised by newsletter of the dates of the technician's visit. Pupils of any age may subsequently be referred to the technician if parents or teachers have specific concerns.
