Enrolment Application
Children are enrolled at the school office prior to entering school. There is a legal requirement for the Birth Certificate and Immunisation information to be seen prior to enrolment. Alternative enrolment procedures are required for Foreign Fee Paying Students and additional forms are completed for students whose first language is not English. New entrant children are encouraged to make classrooms visits in the month prior to starting school. These must be formally arranged. Each year, in June, the school surveys pre-schoolers in the district to assist with forward roll planning. The Assistant Principal and Year 1 team hold regular orientation meetings for parents of new entrant children.

Use of student material for publication
We are making a change to how we gain parental consent for the use of student material to be included on our school website, in our newsletter and for School of Education teaching purposes. This material may include photographs, video clips, audio files or written or art work. Our current consent forms are too restricted and unnecessarily complicated, leading to misunderstandings by parents. After much consideration the most practical solution is to include the consents in the school enrolment form. The statement below will appear for new enrolments.
"I understand that student material which may include photos of my child may be displayed in our newsletter, appear on our school website or be used for School of Education teaching purposes".
For all other students who are currently enrolled, we are informing you of the changes. From June 15th 2011 all students will be covered by this change, unless we receive alternative notification from you. This information will be included in the weekly newsletter four times, and displayed on our website to give parents the opportunity to take note of the changes.
