We hope you

Scholastic
Book Fair Blizzard!
Hillcrest Normal School Library, Monday 26th– Thursday 29th April, 8.30-3.30 daily.
This was a wonderful chance for parents / whanau to visit our library – every book purchased contributed towards new books for our library collection.
Over $3,000 was raised.
Thank you to all those who helped, visited and purchased!
Parents / whanau also enjoyed our winter warming Book Fair wine and cheese evening
Tuesday 27th 7 pm in the library with guest speaker Robyn Southam from Scholastic, NZ. Rob enthralled us with tips and ideas for encouraging independent readers and promoting a lifetime love of books.
Children got busy over the holidays and entered our cool and icy spectacular competitions - all winners received their certificates and prizes at our special assembly on Thursday 6th May. You can still check out our website if you wish to do your own activity.
